Susan LuxTutorSusan has lived in Cardiff by the Sea for 25 years. After completing a BA in Literature and Writing at CSUSM, she began to teach in the reading intervention program at Ada Harris, Cardiff’s 3 - 6 grade school, in 2003. There she instructs students who read below their grade levels in phonics and phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills. Susan has also been tutoring in the North County coastal area since 2003, working with all ages of students but primarily teaching writing skills and preparation for AP, SAT, and ACT testing for high school students. For Susan, reading, writing, and literature are life-long passions. Serving as a teacher for children and teens, aiding them in language acquisition as well as higher level comprehension and writing skills, is a great joy for her. Susan is excited about having the opportunity to share her talents with students at Jodie Schuller & Associates to strengthen their reading, writing and preparation for tests. |
